VIDOR — Monday was a busy day for firefighters with Orange County Emergency Services District No. 1.
At noon they were dispatched to a “fully involved” fire in the 500 block of Faye Street. They brought with them Rescue 1, Tanker 1 and Utility 1 with a total of six firefighters, according to information from their Facebook page.
Units arrived to find the frame of the RV and appliances burning. The fire was quickly tapped out utilizing the front bumper line. No injuries noted from this fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
In addition to the fire there were multiple medical calls handled throughout the district.
“Fires like this highlight the need for strategically placed stations, staffed with full time firefighters. Our crews are ready and able to respond whenever and wherever an emergency occurs,” the post read.
