ORANGE — Police in Orange are investigating the shooting death of a 15-year-old female.
Police with the City of Orange were called at 5:56 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 to Fox Run Apartments located at 2600 Allie Payne Road in reference to a possible shooting, according to information from OPD.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a 15-year-old female had sustained a gunshot wound and was deceased. Other juveniles from the scene were identified and cooperating. Due to the incident involving juveniles, names will not be released at this time.
Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Chad Jenkins arrived on scene and ordered an autopsy to be completed. The case is ongoing and is being investigated by the City of Orange Criminal Investigation Division.
