Arrest made in 2023 killing of Casie Graves

ORANGE COUNTY — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest has been made in the 2023 killing of Casie Graves.
Derek Lennon Bradley was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Thursday in connection with the homicide of 38-year-old Casie Graves.
Graves’ body was discovered in Orange County near the International Paper mill on September 16, 2023.

The case was presented to the grand jury on Wednesday and an indictment for murder was issued. A warrant for the arrest of Bradley was issued today/Thursday, and Deputies were able to make the arrest.
Bradley will be held in the Orange County Jail. Bond on the murder charge has yet been set.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office offered thanks to the Texas Rangers and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for their assistance with this case.
Graves’ brother Eric Graves took to social media and announced the arrest. He offered thanks to all detectives, law enforcement and the public for the tips that led to the arrest.
“Definitely giving some closure to my family,” Eric Graves said in the post.
