The Mauriceville Municipal Utility District has lifted the boil water notice which was in effect for Morris Road through FM 1130 East and South towards FM 1078.

The public water system has taken necessary actions to restore water quality and provided the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality with satisfactory lab test results. As such, water no longer requires boiling prior to use.

The notice was originally issued following a leak on a 6-inch water main located at Morris Road.
