Mount Sinai Baptist Church leaders are celebrating the 104th year church anniversary with numerous community celebrations.

Festivities are planned Friday through Sunday.

The church is located at 1113 N. 2nd Street in Orange.

A movie night at the church starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday, and a church picnic is set for Saturday from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

The Rev. Nathan Stevens of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Welsh, La. and Starlight Baptist Church of Rayne, La. is the guest speaker for the occasion during the 11 a.m. worship service.

The public is cordially invited to come out and worship and fellowship.

Mount Sinai Church is also hosting Trinity Valley District Congress of Christian education from June 3-7.

The Rev. John Mark Stevens and The Rev. Dwight Benoit are the moderators.
