To the wonderful citizens of Orange and surrounding communities,
I write you today for I am sincerely humbled to have once again been honored with the assignment to represent and serve our amazing community. The last ten years have been an experience and a blessing in ways that I never imagined yet I know there’s more to come.
I look around and see the growth that is taking place in this area and I am so grateful for everyone that has helped make this possible.
Sure there are some issues that we will have to continue to address but I also feel that it is of the upmost importance to pause for a moment, reflect on the blessings and thank God for all that he has done.
In 2014 I successfully gained a seat on the Orange City Council, where I have had many amazing experiences, learning opportunities and matured through inclement times to fully understand and appreciate the assignment.
Most importantly it has been a true blessing to share and help others to understand the importance of knowing that it’s all about doing Gods work in the community.
In this assignment there have been a plethora of opportunities to either grow from or be broken down by the accountability and responsibility that comes with the position. I am ever so thankful for every moment for it is the foundation that builds character and allows us to walk in His word to ensure that Gods name be glorified in everything that we do.
This final term will be a testament to the assignment, a purpose-driven effort to continue to uplift, support and inspire a generation of people that want more for their community.
I am thankful for the supportive team members on City Council and Staff that have pushed to help make Orange better than it was before yet, I still know that this is only the beginning and better is yet to come!
I wish to publicly honor and recognize my wife Trisha for she has been my everything through this entire process and I thank God for who she is and what she means to me and our children, she is my blessing!
I also wish to recognize my family and friends for understanding and supporting all these years. You have all given so much to this community and for that I say Thank you!
In closing I wish once again say Thank You to you all for it has been an honor. I look forward to finishing this assignment over the next three years for it truly has been a privilege to serve the people.
Here in Orange, Texas we put Christ first in all that we do, Love people where they are for who they are and let God handle the rest!!!
Let’s Finish This Together!
