Two arrests, a “substantial” amount of drugs and the recovery of firearms resulted from a coordinated Orange County law enforcement home search Tuesday.
According to Precinct 2 Constable Jeremiah Gunter, the narcotics evidentiary search warrant was executed at 17603 Highway 62 in Orange County.
He said 37-year-old Alaina Mease and 36-year-old Jeremiah Gilmore “were located at the residence and detained.”
Each is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
More charges are possible, according to Gunter.
Following the search, Gunter said “a substantial amount of methamphetamines,” and an amount of suspected cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy, two firearms and drug paraphernalia were discovered.
Tuesday’s search involved the City of Orange Police Department, West Orange Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and the Orange Regional Tactical Team.
“The constable’s office would like to thank Orange Police Department for their continued assistance in helping with these investigations,” Gunter said, adding the tactical team includes officers from Orange, West Orange and Bridge City.
“Without these guys being activated, the level of security would not be there. Also would like to thank Orange County Narcotics and Constable Precinct 3 Brad Frye. This search warrant was conducted as a call from a citizen with a complaint. I would like to thank all who assisted and who continually call with these complaints.”
