Morning closures are again scheduled this week for SH 87 northbound in Orange County heading toward West Orange, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

SH 87 northbound from Cow Bayou to 2.5 miles north will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday due to heavy haul moves, weather permitting.

Please use an alternate route.

TxDOT also announced that for Port Arthur, the eastbound lanes of S H 73 (west of U.S. 69 and east of 9th Avenue) will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

In Chambers County, weather permitting, TxDOT is closing IH-10 at SH 99 in both directions beginning Friday at 9 p.m. and lasting through Monday at 5 a.m.

When complete, traffic will be back to three lanes in each direction.
