ORANGEFIELD – The Orangefield Bobcats will head into the Class 3A Region III playoffs with a nice head of steam after they wrapped up the District 22-4A regular season with a 72-39 blowout win over the Kirbyville Wildcats Tuesday night at Bobcat Gym.

The Bobcats (20-16, 9-5) have earned the fourth-place playoff berth out of 22-3A.

Coy Bryant led the balanced Bobcats with 18 points. Bryce Bergeron filtered in 14 points and grabbed five rebounds while Payton Wrinkle contributed 12 points and three assists.
