Old-Fashioned Fun Fly set for Saturday

OCRCC is holding an Old-Fashioned Fun Fly on Saturday, June 15, at Ames Field, Orange County R/C Club field on Farm to Market Road 1442 in Orange.

There will be several competitive events. As always admission is free and concessions are available. Flying will start at 9 a.m. after a safety briefing.

Lunch is included in the $20 landing fee for pilots.

Limbo, timed basic maneuvers as well as competing for the fun of it are part of the event.

The original event was scheduled for May 4 but was postponed due to the weather.

Directions to Ames Field: take interstate 10, turn south on Farm to Market Road 1442. Go a short distance past the Orange County Convention and Expo Center. You will see the open gate on the right.
