His purpose, my pleasure

As we look back over our year thus far, how would we rate it?
Have there been joyous times?
Have there been some rough moments?
When the time comes for us to cross over into a new year, what will we bring with us?
What will we leave behind?
As much as I would love to, there are a couple of moments that I would like to forget. I welcome these experiences because of the lessons that I’ve learned.
In my studies, I came across a new revelation of Romans 8:28.
I’ve heard many people quote or misquote the scripture by stating “all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord” and leaving out the power of the passage.
The first three words of this verse are very powerful and make the rest of the verse complete. Those words are “and we know.”
The power of this verse comes in the knowing, becoming aware of through observation, inquiry, or information, having knowledge or information concerning, absolutely certain or sure about “all things (blessings and burdens) working together (unity) for good (my good).”
It’s so wonderful to know that even though the storms of life may/have come its purpose is to provide a good outcome for us. This lets us know that the struggles, concerns and storms we encountered whether by the hand of others or self-inflicted, it’s all for our good.
God also lets us know that this blessing is not for everyone.
It’s only for those who love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
Loving Him is just the prelude to the blessing, it’s the “called,” those who have picked up the receiver listened and are answering according to His purpose that the unification of burden and blessings works for the good.
God not only has a purpose for our life, but God is also purposeful.
For the remainder of 2019, I invite you to join me in serving notice, no more allowing aggravation, irritation, or frustration to hinder the cultivation of the power and prosperity of God’s purpose to work for our good. “And We Know His Purpose……Is For My Good”
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
