Oak Forest Elementary received a gift from the JJ Watt Foundation, provided through the Food Bank of Southeast Texas, to replace educational curriculum lost in Harvey’s flooding, when the school was inundated.  Pictured left to right are Mr. Harvey Zernial of the food bank, Mrs. Sally Andrews (VISD Coordinator of Community Relations), Oak Forest principal Mrs. Carolyn Wedgeworth, Mrs. Audine Rathbun from the food bank, and Oak Forest assistant principal Mrs. Kyra Day.
