Eula Bandy LaGrone, 92, of West Orange, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Bradley, pastor of First Baptist Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Foreman, Arkansas on September 26, 1926, Eula was a daughter of Earl Thomas Taylor and Annie (Jones) Taylor. A longtime resident of West Orange, she was a homemaker; member of First Baptist Church in Orange, and the J.O.Y. Sunday school class at First Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #214 in Orange and the Daughters of the Nile in Galveston.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur David Bandy, Sr. and Bobby J. LaGrone; siblings, Elmer Taylor, Alma Pickens, Vertie James, Virgil Taylor, twin sister, Beulah Enoch, Arnold Taylor, Lucille Lee, Irving Taylor, and Pearl Johnson.
Eula is survived by her children, Sharon Dryden of Buna, David Bandy and wife Joanie of Hemphill; grandchildren, Misty Newton, Chad Prewitt and wife Robin, Scott Bandy and wife Anna, Christi Curl and husband Michael, and Sara George and husband Chris; and great-grandchildren, Dalton, Jorden, Clint, Addison, Nathan, Wailynn, Haeley, Lauren, Davey, Ruari, and Maddie.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Bandy, Chad Prewitt, Clint Prewitt, Wailynn Cole, Chris George, Nathan Bandy, Douglas Dewitt, and Dakota Dewitt. Serving has honorary pallbearer will be Ray O’Banion.
