To The Leader
The Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School Interact Club has undertaken their largest international project to date and is asking your help to make it successful!
The group, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Orange, is sponsoring a Water Project that will benefit an African community by providing a clean, reliable water source. According to Interact’s sponsor, Jeannie Alexander, “Once we submit our fundraising, they will assign us to a project with the greatest need. We will be able to follow the project from start to finish and for many years to come with maps, pictures, and updates. We believe in this project so much that our club donated the first $1000 that we earned from our senior night shirt sale.”
The Interact Club is hoping to engage people outside of the LCM community to really make an impact through this effort. Donating to this and making this a district-wide, community-wide effort that we can proud of for years to come. As Alexander said, “There is no donation too large or too small and it all adds up. It is tax deductible and the kids are loving seeing the support come in.”
