A truck fire fire temporarily shut down the intersection of West Roundbunch Road and Farm to Market Road 408 in Bridge City shortly before 11 a.m. on Monday.
According to a Bridge City police officer on the scene, the driver of a Chevrolet heavy duty truck stated he was having engine problems and pulled over into a nearby gas station. Shortly after stopping the vehicle caught fire.
The driver was able to escape any injuries and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
