Orange County voters have turned out in record numbers for the Mid-Term General Election early voting. In 2014, the record number of voters turned out was 9,908. By day 4 of early elections, the number was 10,390. As of Tuesday morning, the latest numbers available at press time, 14,039 voters have cast their ballot for the Nov. 6 election. In the West Orange-Cove Consolidated ISD (WOCCISD) Bond Election, 1,827 have voted.
Voting Polls are open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday – Friday at Orange Public Library located at 220 North 5th Street in Orange, Bridge City Public Works Building located at 220 Nitsche in Bridge City, Mauriceville Volunteer Fire Department located at 10691 North Hwy. 62 in Mauriceville and Raymond Gould Community Center located at 385 Claiborne in Vidor. For the WOCCISD Bond Election, early voting will take place at the Orange Public Library during the same times as the General Election voting.
