ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats will take on the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls in the Class 3A Region III area round playoffs Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Crosby High School.

The Lady Bobcats (30-9), District 22-3A runnerups, defeated Diboll 25-27, 25-19, 25-23, 25-17 on Tuesday night in the bidistrict round.

The Fighting Owls, District 23-3A champions, toppled Van Vleck 25-23, 25-21, 25-15 in the bidistrict round Tuesday.

The Orangefield-Anderson-Shiro winner will face either East Benard or Buna in the 3A Region III semifinals next week.

Buna, the third-place team out of 22-3A, defeated Woodville 18-25, 25-18, 16-25, 25-20 15-11 in bidistrict while East Bernard, District 24-3A champions, downed Onalaska 25-8, 25-7, 25-14.
