Several local athletes They ran last weekend  June 22-23 in Converse,Tx at the D.W. Rutledge Stadium for the 2018 AAU Jr Olympics District meet with Coach Larnell (Chop) Thomas and Justin Thomas.

All six qualified to run Saturday, June 30 in the Region AAU Jr Olympics.

Qualifying was 11 year old Trinity Rine running a 30.46 in the 200 and a 1.10.16 in the 400; 13 year old Dakarion Judge running a 26.71 in the 200 and a 58.6 in the 400; 13 year old Lawondrick Mitchell running a 29.36 in the 200 and a 1.08.10 in the 400; 13 year old Bryanah Burnette running a 30.20 in the 200 and a 1.06 in the 400; Katelynn Helm running a 1.04.67 in the 400 and a 5.46 in the 1500; and Maddison Helm running a 5.15 in the 1500 and a 11.23 in the 3000.
