Both the West Orange-Stark boys and Silsbee girls basketball programs received the news Monday that they would not have to forfeit District 22-4A basketball games due to ineligible players. The District 22-4A Executive Committee released a statement Monday night saying this nullification of recent forfeitures was based on new information associated with the students course grade and guidance from the.University Interscholastic League. The Mustangs are now 5-2 in 22-4A and in third place in the standings with three games left. The Silsbee girls are now 9-0 and are the outright district champions with a game remaining.
