Pinehurst schedules final debris removal

Pinehurst officials announced the final week of flood debris removal will be conducted between Nov. 6 -10.
Residents are asked to have the items ready for collection by Nov. 6 as the truck will only go down the street one time on this round.
Citizens are instructed to place the items in two separate piles. One pile for sheetrock, flooring, furniture and other such items, and a separate pile for white goods such as refrigerators freezers, stoves, washers and like type appliances.
The debris removal is for flood related items only.
New construction debris is not permitted as contractors are responsible for disposing of new construction debris.
