Louise Peveto Pitcher, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on October 19, 2017 in Port Arthur, Texas. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas. Born in Orange, Texas, on July 17, 1933, she was the daughter of Louis Peveto and Gladys Wilson Peveto. Louise was married to her loving husband for over fifty years. She loved dancing, going gambling, fishing and camping. Louise was the glue who kept her family together, and keeping the family close was always her priority. She always cherished spending time with her four children and their families. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Pitcher; sister, Ruby Brown; her brothers, Sam Peveto, Donald Peveto, and Johnny Norwood. She is survived by her husband, Bill Pitcher; her children, Billy Pitcher of Bronson, Texas, Jean Mason and husband Ronnie of Orange, Texas, Anita Swanton and husband Alan of Bronson, Texas; daughter in law, Melissa Pitcher of Mauriceville, Texas; grandchildren, Adam Pitcher, Ethan Pitcher, Troy Pitcher, Jennifer Person, Julie DeMary and husband Michael; sisters, Norma Toohey and Evelyn Goodman; and brothers Louis Peveto and wife Ruth, and Jack Peveto.
