Woman gets foot stuck in railroad tracks

A women gets her foot stuck on railroad crossing while trying to cross tracks with her bicycle.
Saturday evening around 7:45 p.m. Orange Police responded to the Rebeck Rail Crossing at the intersection of 15th and Church Street, in reference to a female down on the railroad tracks. Once officers arrived on scene they found a female sitting on the tracks with a leg injury.
The female stated, “She attempted to cross the tracks, and her foot became stuck between the tracks.”
She then fell after struggling to free her foot, but with the help of several good samaritans she was able to free her foot.
Acadian Ambulance personnel arrived on scene to assess the female, and she was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for treatment.
