Special to The Leader
Tuesday, two Little Cypress Junior High Choirs attended UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest. The men’s choir (with only six students attending) received an excellent rating in the concert portion and a good rating in the sight-reading portion.
According to choir director Stephanie Teague, “This is the first men’s choir from LCJH to attend this contest in about eight years. I am incredibly proud of their dedication, determination and hard work.”
The ladies choir also received an excellent rating on their concert performance and a superior rating in sight-reading, which earned them a plaque for sight-reading.
