Mount Olive Baptist Church had their note burning ceremony Sunday outside of the church on 106 West Park Avenue in Orange. The ceremony, which marked the paying off of the Christian Family Life Center, was held on the church’s 107th anniversary. Reverend Ronnie A. E. Crockett Sr., pastor of Mount Olive stated in his news letter within the events program “Today’s celebration reveals God’s purpose for the church wrapped in endless possibility and potential as we embrace the vision.” With the congregation looking on in praise and excitement, embracing the vision, Church Deacons put flame to the payment notes that had one long anticipated word stamped in red on the cover, “PAID”.
