NAACP Orange Branch held a banquet Saturday evening at Mount Olive Baptist Church located on West Park Avenue in Orange. Keynote speaker Paul Jones, executive director of the NAACP’s Beaumont branch, gave an astounding account of his life keeping with the banquet’s theme “knowledge is power”. The banquet concluded with the acknowledgement of churches, businesses and organizations that greatly contributed to NAACP Orange scholarship program.
