Vidor High School hosted a college fair in September, with juniors and seniors from their campus, the AIM Center High School, and Orangefield and Deweyville High Schools meeting in the VHS gym with military recruiters and representatives from thirty-five institutions of higher learning. About 800 students and staff attended the fair, hosted by TACRO, an organization encouraging higher learning and working with registrars to make sure opportunities are offered.
