Almeda Lavern Green, 68, of Orange, Texas died on May 23, 2016 at her residence after a short illness.

Almeda was a life long resident of Orange and a faithful member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church at a youg age. She was loved by many in the community along with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Marie Green.

Going home celebration will be at 11:00 am Saturday at St. Paul C.M.E. Church located at 1201 N. 4th street in Orange, Texas. Visitation from 9:30am til time of service. Eulogy will be given by Pastor Robert Gibson. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Orange, Texas under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two brothers, Harold and Mose Green both of Orange, Texas. Four sisters, Lillie Bell Rathers of Los Angeles, California. Dorthy  and Jeanette Green (Elroy) both of Orange, Texas. Shelia Marshell (Eddie) of Beaumont, Texas. She also leaves behind a host of family and freinds.
