Thursday is National Day of Prayer

Wake up America is the theme for the 65th Annual Observance of the National Day of Prayer.
Orange County will participate in observance with an event at noon on Thursday, May 5 on the Courthouse lawn.
The Bible verse chosen for this year’s ceremony is ‘Shout it aloud; Do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet,’ Isaiah 58:1a.
President Ronald Reagan signed legislation in 1988 declaring the first Thursday in the month of May would be the day to observe National Day of Prayer.
The weather Thursday is expected to have a high of 81 degrees with 0-percent chance of rain.
