Funeral services for Violet Read Warnick Morse will be 10:00 am Thursday December 31, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee.  Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Violet was born in Silsbee in 1924.  She was a resident of Orange, Texas and worked for Nelson’s Pharmacy.  She was a formerly a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church and later became an active member of First Baptist Vinton where she taught Sunday School and Bible Studies for many years.  She loved to study the Bible and worked in her garden.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Harry Warnick and Dewy Schafer; her daughter Sandy Liss; her sisters Mary E Haynes, Donna Blanton; her brothers George Read, Lawrence Read, and Wayne Read; and her parents Henry and Sallie Read.
She is survived by husband Arvel Morse of Buna; daughter Lorraine Greubel (Jack) of Red Oak; sister Mildred Graf; brother Tommie Read (Jane); grandchildren Dana Maners ( Barry) , Todd Stokes ( Laura), Jody Stafford (Greg),
Shanda Martin ( Kenny), Lori Bray ( Brad ) and Sallie Liss;  8 great grandchildren; stepdaughters Kathy Jackson (M.L.) , Arleta Luke (Brian), Sherry Farrar and Laura Craft (Lee); and several nieces and nephews.
