Yvonna Boehme

 

Yvonna Boehme, 91, of Orange, died Friday, October 6, 2017, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, beginning at 4:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Orange, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Reverend John Warren and Reverend Melba Rodgers.

The committal service will be held on Monday at 8:00 a.m. at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Shelby County, Texas on August 1, 1926, Mrs. Boehme has been a resident of Orange for the past 65 years and was a homemaker.  She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school since 1956.

Mrs. Boehme was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. “Skeet” Boehme; son, Larry Clark; daughter, Karen Peery and her great grandson, Jesse Don Moody.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Harrabeth Haidusek and her husband, Andy, of Beaumont, Heather Moody and her husband, Donnie, of Center, Misti Neese and her husband, Nathan, of Austin, Todd Clark and his wife, Darlene, of Center and Ryan Crow of Austin; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Yvonna’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all of her close friends and family who have supported her over the years.
