Willie D. Phillips

Willie D. Phillips 65 of Orange, Texas died on July 29, 2015 at the Meadows Rehabilitation Center in Orange, Texas after a short illness.

Mr. Phillips was a native of Shaw, Mississippi and a resident of Orange, Texas for 48 years. He was loved by family members along with his friends in the community. He was a graduate of the 1969 class at Lutcher Stark High School in Orange.

Home going celebration will be at 11:00 am Saturday August 8, 2015 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church located at 1704 14th street in Orange, Texas with Pastor Ed- ward Hill officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 am till time of service. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Orange, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother, Mary Phillips of Orange, Texas. One daughter, Tracie Phillips of Houston, Texas. Five brothers, Ehrman Phillips Jr. (Judy) of Port Arthur, Texas, Monroe Marshall of Abbeville, Louisiana; Floyd Phillips, Richard Phillips (Dora) and Bishop Larry Phil- lips Sr. (Vickie) all of Orange, Texas. Two sisters, Rose Mary Hollis (Willie) of Abbeville, Louisiana and Patricia Hoyt of Orange, Texas. He also leaves behind a host of family and friend.
