Two arrested in motorcycle thefts

Two people have been arrested following the discovery of stolen motorcycles at a residence in Orange County.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint this past Monday evening from a resident of Orange stating two motorcycles were stolen from his residence sometime late Sunday, June 21. The owner had filed a complaint with the Orange Police Department earlier, but made contact with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office after obtaining a possible location of the motorcycles.
Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office traveled to a residence in the 4200 block of Darlene Street in Orangefield and found two motorcycles hidden behind the house.
The vehicle identification numbers of the motorcycles were obtained and confirmed as the stolen vehicles previously reported. The two people at the residence were placed under arrest and the motorcycles returned to the owner.
Deputies arrest Ely Carraway, a 44-year-old resident of Orangefield, and Shelia Suire, a 43-year-old resident of Bridge City, for possession of stolen property. Each person was transported to the Orange County Jail and bond was set at $10,000 each. Both people remain in custody at this time.
