Sharon Janiece Clark

 

Sharon Janiece Clark, 70, of Spring, Texas, passed away on May 26, 2019, at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on January 26, 1949, she was the daughter of Lemuel E. Drake and Ardell Ratcliff Drake. Sharon spent her youth in Mauriceville, Texas before raising her family in McLewis. She later lived in Spring, Texas. After retiring from Merrill Lynch, Sharon spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren and daughters, and enjoyed traveling. She was outgoing and vivacious and loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Ardell Drake; and her loving husband, John E. “Butch” Clark.

She is survived by her children, Shannon Clark Ramirez and husband Jesse, of Baytown and Shaney Clark, of Spring; grandchildren, Robert Kyle Perry, Erynne Shane Perry, Kellen Clark Pompura, Kennedy Mareigh Pompura, and Kendell Rose Pompura; brother, Gayle Drake; brother-in-law, David Clark; and her nieces and nephews, Kim Fury, Angela Hamilton, Tara Augenstein, Mark Drake, Nicole Clark, and Lacy Broom.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert “Kyle” Perry, Kellen Clark Pompura, David Clark, Mark Drake, Marshall Willey, and Burdett Oldbury.
