Mrs. Barbara Hinson

The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Barbara Hinson, 67, of Orange, will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. the Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

She died January 10, 2017 at Baptist Hospital Beaumont.

An Orange native, she was a 1968 graduate of Lutcher Stark High School.

Her life was about helping others. As a Health Care Professional, she served as a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years

She is survived by her husband, Rev. John E. Hinson, Sr., of Orange, sons, Cregg Hinson (Angela) of Cypress, TX, John E. Hinson, Jr. (Cynthia), also of Cypress TX and Kelvin Hinson (Lorenza) of Orange, her mother, Stella Bennett of Orange, sisters, Cathryn Cline (Floyd) of St. Louis, MO, Beverly Minard (Joseph) of Port Arthur, TX, Delores Eddings (Ron), Cherrie McGlory, and Ellen Watson (Kippie), all of Orange, and 11 grandchildren.
