Lisa Michelle King, 50, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 24, 2017, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Lisa was the daughter of Susan Franklin Peyton. She was a very unique and special person who never met a stranger. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Virginia Peyton; and her mother-in-law, Sharon Bare.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, James King, of Orange; mother, Susan Peyton, of New Orleans; children, Joshua King, of Colorado, Raychell King and husband Corey Rodgers, of Orange, and Heather King and fiancé Joseph Honkomp, of Orange; grandchildren, Katelynn Edwards and Kirra Jaarah; along with numerous other family and many friends.
