James “Jim” Clinton Brasher

Jim Brasher, 71, of Vidor died Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care in Nederland, Texas. A native of Pascagoula, Mississippi, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jim was a member of Pipe Fitters Local Union # 195 and was project manager at Sabine River Works for over 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, dove hunter and bass fisherman. He also enjoyed playing golf and watching sports. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, May 5, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. The family would like to invite family and friends to join them at Linda’s home (69 heritage Dr.) for dinner after the services. Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Brasher of Vidor, TX, daughter Kelly Carder and husband JJ of Vidor, TX, sons Casey Brasher and wife Danielle of Mont Belvieu, TX,  Clint Brasher and wife Wendy of Vidor, TX, brother Raymond Brasher of Coffeeville, MS, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
