Vidor Chamber Chamber of Commerce returns to host Hometown Holidays

The Vidor Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Hometown Holidays featuring three days of events Dec.6-8.  The weekend starts off with Light Up City Hall on Friday, Dec. 6 where the Vidor City Hall will be lit up to celebrate the Christmas season. 

The Car Show and Christmas cruise begins Saturday Dec. 7th at 11 a.m. with the Vendor Market and ends at 4 p.m. with the Christmas Cruise.

The market will feature local artisans and food trucks to get shoppers in the christmas spirit. Registration is still open for those that might have something they would like to sell. Vendors can register online at the Vidor Chambers website.

The Car Show registration opens at 11 a.m. and there is a registration fee of $20. Judging will begin at 3 p.m. with 15 total awards up for grabs along with a best in show award that will feature on next years Hometown Holidays t-shirt. 

The event will end 4 p.m. will the Car Show Cruise where attendees are encouraged to ride down Main Street in a collaborative celebration of their vehicles.

The weekend ends with Light Up Vidor hosted by Eastgate United Pentecostal Church and will be host to over 80 vendors and food trucks.

“We encourage you to bring your whole family,” said Rebecca Fontaine, Administrative Assistant for the Vidor Chamber of Commerce.” It’s all free and we encourage everyone to come out and support.”
