Grace Alice Dominy

 

Funeral services for Grace Alice Dominy, 104, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following at Baker Bell Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dominy passed away November 2, 2017 at Spanish Trails Assisted Living in Silsbee.

Grace was born August 24, 1913 in Fred, to Edward and Emme Hutto Bell. She was a long-time resident of Silsbee and a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Mrs. Dominy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Cecil A. Dominy; son James Dominy; brother A. V. Bell, Ellis Britton Bell, and James Frank Bell; sister Willrie Carnley; and son-in-law Bill Jasper, and grandson James Steven Dominy.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her son Raymond Dominy and wife Lula of Kirbyville; daughters Jean Jasper of Silsbee and Doris Bullock of Silsbee; and sister Jennie Brewer of Groves.

Also surviving her are grandchildren Kathy Jean Eddins, Linn Robert Nelson, Kevin James Wilson, Jason William Jasper, Donna Lynn McCauley, Brenda McCauley, James Paul McCauley, and Stacy Dominy; great grandchildren Justin Charles Eddins, Roy Chad Eddins, Autumn Grace Eddins, Chelsea Lynn Taylor, Brianna Nelson, Hannah Kate Wilson, James Wayne Wilson, Kallie Anna Wilson, Gena Hare, Jessie Smith, Brittany Smith, Anna Dawson, Katie Jasper, Matthew Hunter McCauley, Michael Tucker McCauley, Mark Sawyer McCauley, Ryan Paul McCauley, Shelby Allen McCauley, Josh Dominy, Tyson Cruze Dominy, Reayan Preslee Dominy, Ramsey Alexandra Dominy, Avery Jaelyn Greninger, and Evan Taylor Greninger; twenty five great great grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

Grace will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
