INVISTA presents $15K to United Way

ORANGE — The United Way of Orange County received a last minute donation to bring its campaign season to a close.

INVISTA of Orange presented the United Way of Orange County with a $15,000 check this past week to help the charitable agency bring its 2014-2015 campaign year to its conclusion.
“This donation was a corporate gift from INVISTA and finishes up our campaign for 2015,” said Linn Cardner, executive director of the United Way in Orange County. “We are so very appreciative with the amount of giving from the INVISTA corporation and its local employees, who always give generously to the United Way.”
Cardner said the donation helped the United Way of Orange County meet its 2014-2015 fundraising goal of $850,000.
The 2015-2016 campaign will begin with the annual Kick-Off Breakfast event at 7 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Gillespie Building of First Presbyterian Church in Orange. Cardner announced the new fundraising goal will be $875,000.
