Edith Joann Reese

Edith Joann Reese, 80, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Greg Edwards. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

Born in Studtgart, Arkansas, on October 29, 1937, she was the daughter of Ted Craig and Sadie (Brewer) Craig. Edith was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with family. Edith loved music, whether it was listening, dancing or singing. She drove a school bus for Bridge City school district for a number of years. Edith will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Henry Reese; children, Henry Reese, Jr. and wife Sue, Deboragh Lohr, Linda Simon and husband Jim, Susan Meaux and husband Terry, and Ned Reese and wife Edith; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Craig and wife Judy, Janice Archer, Becky Rasmus and husband Pete, Benny Craig, Donna Irby and husband Fred, and Fred Craig and wife Donna.
