July 13, 1941 – January 8, 2020

Doris E. Collins  passed away January, 8, 2020, in Santa Rosa, California where she resided for the last 55 plus years.  She was born in Voth, TX, on July 13, 1941 but was raised in Orange, TX, throughout her years of schooling where she graduated from Little Cypress High School.

She is survived by her sisters: Charlene Stark, Arlene Garney, and Frances Collins; her brothers: Thadd Collins, Jr. and Ted Collins along with many family and friends.  Doris retired after 27 years as a Master Sargent in the U.S. Army and later worked in the winery business thereafter for 10 years in Napa Valley.  Doris was also a graduate of Santa Rosa Junior College and was an avid collector of various art and fun collectibles, such as; Norman Rockwell, Charles Schultz (Charlie Brown), Unicorns, Lighthouses, etc.

Doris passed away surrounded by family and friends.  Her huge charitable life and heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
