Over the past 10 years, Avon grantees have facilitated 3.2 million mammograms, largely for clients that are uninsured or under-insured. Through this effort, breast cancer was diagnosed in nearly 35,000 women. The Gift of Life is fortunate to have contributed to this astounding number. This year, Gift of Life provided 2,173 free breast cancer screenings and diagnosed breast cancer in 18 Southeast Texas women.  Remember: early protection is the best protection!
