Celebrating the class of 2020

Students graduating this year have experienced several curves life has thrown at them and they continue to stand tall.
As the students leaving high school this year with the COVID-19 Crisis currently impacting the globe, but they began their school careers with Hurricane Ike in 2008. Since then, there has been Hurricane Harvey, Tropical Storm Imelda, and the Deweyville flood of 2016.
Despite the negative impacts they have endured, they are the Class of 2020.
On Saturday, fire departments throughout the county joined together with the Pinehurst Volunteer Fire Department as they held a parade to honor all Seniors of 2020.
The departments include Pinehurst Fire Department, West Orange Fire, Little Cypress ESD3 and ESD4, Bridge City Fire, and Vidor Fire Department.
The schools include Orangefield, West Orange, Little Cypress, Community Christian, Bridge City and Vidor High School.
