Orangefield High School Administrators were made aware of a student that made an inappropriate statement regarding a threat ti the school.

The student was immediately removed from the educational setting and law enforcement was contacted.

The school district takes any form of threat to school safety very seriously and will persecute such actions to the fullest extent of the student code of conduct, Texas Education Code and the Texas Penal Code, according to a statement issued by the school district.

The district contacted all students and parents involved in he situation or with knowledge of the circumstances.
