Casimir Benjamin “Casey” Robak

Casimir Benjamin “Casey” Robak, 90, of Conroe, Texas and formerly of Orange, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in The Woodlands. Casey was born March 23, 1928 to his parents, John and Antonina (Szymanski) Robak as the fourth youngest of 13 children in Buffalo, New York. Casey served in the U. S. Navy in the signal corps assigned to the Marshall Islands from 1945 to 1950. Then in 1950 his military service brought him to Orange, Texas where he met and married his wife, Doris (Delahoussaye) Robak. Casey retired from Firestone as a supervisor in the Electrical maintenance department with 34 years of service. He served as President of the Water Board of West Orange, Texas for a number of years. Casey moved to the Houston area in 2002 after the death of his wife. He was affiliated with the Living Way United Methodist Church in Conroe, Texas.
Casey was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings, and his wife, Doris Robak.
Casey is survived by his daughter, Dee King and husband, Bill of Conroe, Texas and his son, Casimir Benjamin “Skip” Robak, Jr. and wife, Janice of Newburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Dustin Daniels, Ben Robak and wife, Lindsey, and Sherry Heidorn and husband, Doug; great- grandchildren Megan, Casey, Andrew, and Emma Robak, Emily and Isabel Heidorn; brother, Bob Robak of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
Service to honor Casey’s life will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Ed Posey, pastor of Living Way United Methodist Church, officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
