Man dies from fatal wreck

An 83-year-old Orange man has died after injuries from a one vehicle rollover crash in Orange.
According to information from Orange Police Captain W.K. Longlois, Orange Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover crash in the 10000 block of Farm to Market Road 1130 Saturday Morning around 11:40 a.m.
Upon arrival on scene, first responders found a 2012 Toyota Rav 4 overturned sideways on its driver side door. The driver of the Toyota left the roadway in the curve near Farm to Market Road 1130 and Alice Street and overturned striking a tree.
Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extract the driver from the vehicle who was identified as Jerome Jones of Orange.
The victim was transported by Acadian Ambulance Service Air Med Helicopter to a Lake Charles Hospital where he passed away from his injuries.
The case remains under investigation by the Orange Police Department.
