The Salvation Army purchased a new Ford Transit on Tuesday through the generous donations of the Foundation of Southeast Texas, Rebuild Texas and the Eva and Ross Smith Foundation. The final cost for the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club was $0. Representatives of the Boys and Girls Club thanked Ross Smith after the ribbon cutting. The vehicle will be used to transport the Boys and Girls Club kids to field trips during the summer and other Salvation Army events such as Camp Hoblitzelle in Dallas.
