A man in Orange is now carless after his vehicle caught fire.

Orange Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire around 4 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Burton Avenue.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a Buick Century partially engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters and no injuries were reported.

According to the vehicle owner, he was driving his vehicle and it suddenly caught on fire. The driver pulled over and was able to safely escape the vehicle.

“This was the seventh vehicle I have lost this year,” he said. “Glad to be safe.”
