The Celebration of Life for Ms. Cora Feathers, 89, of Orange, will be Thursday, September 27^th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Paul C.M.E. Church. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm.

She died September 20^th, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX.

Ms. Cora Feathers was born May 8^th, 1929 to Eddie and Amelia Griffin Feathers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her 11 brothers and sisters.

She knew and loved the Lord. A member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church for more than 60 years, she attended until her health failed. She was a faithful member of the Sunday School class, attending each Sunday, rain or shine. Her presence at the church and the time she shared with those who knew her will forever be cherished.

Her summons from earthly life came exactly one year to the day from the passing of her last sister, Ms. Mary Feathers, September 20^th, 2017. They lived together, were always seen together, and both served faithfully together at St. Paul C.M.E. Church.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, church members and friends.
