Woman in critical condition following auto/pedestrian collision in Vidor

Press Release – On Monday, May 14, 2018, at approximately 9:17 p.m., the Vidor Police Department received several calls of an auto-pedestrian accident in the 500 block of N. Main (Hwy. 105) by Courtland Street. Responding units found the pedestrian lying in the roadway unresponsive. Medics from Orange County ESD #1 and Acadian Ambulance Service arrived on scene and began to administer advanced life support. The pedestrian was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital with Life-Threatening injuries. She is currently in St. Elizabeth Hospital ICU in critical condition as of Tuesday at 9:30 a.m..
The pedestrian is identified as: Connie Bozeman, 59, of Vidor.
Investigation is on-going at this time. The driver remained on-scene and is cooperating with investigators.
